•The media center has 20,000 books and an Internet-accessible computer lab.
•A recreation center is attached to the school and gives students and families access to a theater, dance studio, a second gym with bleachers, computer lab, and other sports, recreation and ecucation opportunities.
•Dayton's Bluff Elementary has all-day kindergarten.
•Achievement Plus Extended Learning offers programs beyond the regular school day that build upon classroom learning and focus on homework. The program also provides students with a variety of experiences and activities.
•Through Achievement Plus, Dayton's Bluff students and families have access to a wide array of student/family suppoers. A pediatric nurse practioner at the school can give immuniztions, write prescriptions and perform well-child physicals. Dental services are provided by the Children's Dental Service. Mental health services are provided by the Wilder Foundation and include a therapist, family outreach specialist and a preventative program for students in kindergarten through second grade. The school also has a Family Resource Room with information about community services.
